HELLO!

Welcome back. Seven years after my first ride across the United States, I am doing it again.

This blog will document my trek.

Day 23: Casey, IL to Vandalia, IL (65.5 miles)

Day 23: Casey, IL to Vandalia, IL (65.5 miles)

After a nice stay at the Casey KOA, we headed out and back through downtown Casey and saw more amusing items. The ride today was a straight line from Casey to just outside Vandalia on route 40, which parallels I-70. Notable towns included Greenup, Montrose, Effingham, and Altamont. The Okaw Valley Campground, where we are staying tonight, is close to I-70.
