HELLO!

Welcome back. Seven years after my first ride across the United States, I am doing it again.

This blog will document my trek.

Day 52 - O’leno State Park to Palatka (100.4 miles)

A very exciting day, the last big riding day before the trip ends tomorrow in St Augustine. I decided to extend the ride by 22 miles to make it a century ride. Had a great day as the weather was nice, after a rain shower at breakfast. Today’s lunch stop was at mile 51 at Gatorbait Restaurant. I had the Gator Po’boy, but was surprised when Paul (rider who broke his hip 5 weeks ago) joined us for lunch! It was fabulous catching up. He’s still recovering but doing very well.

Milton and I were the only 2 who rode a century today.

Lunch at Gatorbait with Lisa, Larry, Tom, Milton, me, and Paul, a surprise visitor.
