HELLO!

Welcome back. Seven years after my first ride across the United States, I am doing it again.

This blog will document my trek.

Day 12 - East Tucson to Tombstone (78.8 miles)

Big riding day today, high mileage with 4411 ft of elevation change. Add some hot weather and 6-10 mph headwinds. Everyone is pretty tired. The scenery changed as we moved into the high desert. A great lunch/ ice cream stop at the Corner Scoop (mile 37). Cruised into Tombstone at around 3:15 pm. Went to Main Street for a beer to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Had a dark amber brewed in Bisbee, which we’ll see tomorrow. Staying at Tombstone High School, home of the Yellow Jackets…hoping not to see the real thing anytime soon!

Chuck, Bob, me, Tim, Joe, and Paul. We were nicknamed “the bros” because we often ride together.
