HELLO!

Welcome back. Seven years after my first ride across the United States, I am doing it again.

This blog will document my trek.

Day 14 - From Douglas to Rodeo, NM (53.8 miles)

Left the Gadsden Hotel in Douglas at 8 am. Not a lot of sights today but plenty of wildflowers and high desert scenery. We did leave Arizona and entered New Mexico, our 3rd state. Staying in Rodeo at the Chiricahua Desert Museum.

Welcome to New Mexico

Missed this sign the first time, so turned around to get it on our way out.

My bike and barbed wire…

Geranimo Monument, commemorating his surrender.

Geranimo surrendered on September 6, 1886. His surrender ended Indian warfare in the United States.
