Exciting day of riding as we made it the start of Texas Hill Country. Leaving at 8:30, we made our way east in a moderate headwind to Uvalde. Lunch at Ophelia’s before visiting the very touching and sad Memorial to the Evalde massacre in 2022. From Uvalde, we headed north, gaining a tailwind with the change in direction. Hooray!
