Beautiful riding day, cool temperatures and sunny weather….and headwinds. At the 7 mile mark, a washed out bridge created a logistics problem. Turns out the bypass was on beautiful roads, and added “only” 5 extra miles to our total. Lots of interesting sights today, the original site of Baylor University, cattle farms, ranches, and lots of open space, and even an animal refuge with zebras. Tonight we’re staying at Airport Landing RV Park in Navasota. BTW, place is new, shower facility not built. We showered at the Circle T Truck Stop….a first for me.

The Surly Boys - Joe and Mike riding their Surly Disc Truckers. Each morning starts with “How are you feeling today?” “I’m feeling pretty Surly” “I’m feeling pretty Surly myself”…it’s an inside joke only Surly owners understand.
