HELLO!

Welcome back. Seven years after my first ride across the United States, I am doing it again.

This blog will document my trek.

Day 45 - Dauphin Island to Pensacola (0 miles due to weather)

Crazy morning…high winds closed the ferry we were supposed to take from Dauphin Island to Fort Morgan. We’re being shuttled to Pensacola by van. Multiple stops along the way made the ride enjoyable….Buccee’s, Floribama, Florida border, and the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola. Tonight, we’re staying at the oldest Methodist Church in Florida.

Riders waiting at 7:30 am to hear if ferry was running today (Answer: No)

First group of rides ready to be shuttled

“Experienced” a Buc-ee’s on our shuttle ride. Tasty brisket sandwich and chips, apparently two classic items.

Picture with Bucee. I’m on the right.

Welcome to Florida

This store/ church/ collection of bars is located 1/2 in Florida and 1/2 in Alabama.
