Spectacular riding day today. Left the Chaparral RV Park around 8:30, seemed windy whichever way we turned. Got into a groove as the scenery improved. Picacho State Park was a beautiful collection of elevated mountain views with big cactus. Great lunch at Nico’s Mexican food, and awesome bike trail 10 miles from our destination.
Today’s riding group…Dan, Bob, Terri, Paul, Joe, Tim, David, and me.
Another beautiful cactus

Fish Tortas with a big hot pepper. Very tasty. Who gets tilapia in the middle of the desert?
Picacho State Park, a 5 mile “extra” which was well worth it.

Sculpture along bike route on Tangerine Road. Prettiest bike trail I’ve ever ridden.

Approaching Tucson.
This is so Arizona…
